Ask ScooterDad: Hi I would like to buy a flex fender brake but i can only afford one with 2 holes. I have one hole in my deck and i cant drill a 2nd one so could i just not use one of the bolts??. Would it work with just one ?? Thanks

It might work, but it also might slip from side to side, not staying straight because there is nothing holding it in place other than the one bolt. Some Phoenix brakes had only one bolt, but they had tabs that held them straight within the deck. The best advice is to buy the right brake for your deck.
